Everything You
Need to Know
Clear answers to the most common questions about ownership, purchasing,
training and managing trotting horses.
10% Ownership
How does 10% ownership work?
You purchase a 10% share of the horse, becoming a co-owner together with 9 other investors. You share all costs and prizes proportionally to your share. You have the right to visit, receive regular updates and the satisfaction of seeing your horse compete.
What are the monthly costs for a 10% share?
Monthly costs vary between €400-800 depending on the horse's level and include: training, food, accommodation, routine veterinary care, shoeing, insurance and administrative management. You receive a detailed breakdown before purchase.
How are winnings distributed?
Prizes are distributed proportionally to ownership shares, after deducting direct race costs (driver, entry, transport). You receive a transparent report after each prize-winning race.
Can I sell my 10% share?
Yes, you can sell your share at any time. We offer a free brokerage service to facilitate the sale. Other co-owners have the right of first refusal on the purchase of your share.
What rights do I have as a 10% owner?
You have the right to: visit the horse, receive monthly reports on training and health, participate in important decisions (trainer change, sale), attend races, access to owner areas at hippodromes, and an official co-ownership certificate.
How much can I earn with a 10% share?
Returns vary significantly based on horse performance. A mid-level horse can generate €5,000-15,000 in annual prizes (€500-1,500 per 10% share). High-level horses can exceed €50,000 annually. Economic return is not guaranteed: also consider the value of the experience.
Full Purchase
What are the advantages of full ownership?
By purchasing the entire horse you have complete control of decisions: choice of trainer, race strategy, training program. You receive 100% of prizes and have maximum flexibility in future choices (sale, breeding, retirement).
How much does it cost to maintain a horse per month?
Monthly costs for a full horse vary between €2,500-4,500 and include: full board (€1,500-2,000), professional training (€800-1,200), shoeing (€150-200), preventive veterinary care (€200-400), insurance (€300-500), and administrative expenses (€100-200).
Can I choose my trainer?
Yes, as sole owner you can freely choose the trainer. We recommend qualified professionals, but the final decision is yours. We can continue to host the horse in our facilities even with an external trainer.
Do you offer performance guarantees?
We cannot guarantee specific sporting results, but we guarantee: complete pre-sale veterinary check, pedigree certification, transparency on history and past performance, continuous professional support, and possibility of pre-purchase test/trial for horses in training.
Is a payment plan available?
Yes, we offer customized payment plans for purchases over €50,000. Typically: 30-50% deposit, balance over 6-12 months. Specific conditions to be agreed. The horse remains our property until full payment.
